Travelled to Agra about 221km, the road was slow the pollution followed. A comfort stop at a local roadhouse where we’ll know fast foods were on offer. The menus were very similar but no beef or pork to be found
Nearly fours hours later arrived at my hotel the Oberoi Amarvillas Agra the hotel as views to the Taj from all rooms and it did not disappoint. It was inspired by Moorish and Mughal architecture, the interior has so much details, , terraced lawns, fountains, reflection pools, swimming pool and pavilions make you feel royal for a moment it is just 600 metres from the Taj Mahal
Before venturing to the Taj I went to the heritage listed Agra Red Fort. Built by the Mughal rulers, the heritage-listed Agra Fort is made from Venture red sandstone walls to discover and ornate marble mosques built by the great Mughal emperor Akbar I
The splendour of the Taj is seen at sunset and sunrise. With the help of a local guide I saw the Taj in both light and it is magnificent I cant find word to do it justice
