A short journey on a high speed train to Tainan, often referred to as the "Capital City" of Taiwan, is the oldest city in the country. It boasts a rich history, having served as the capital for over 200 years during the rule of Koxinga and the Qing dynasty. This historical significance has led to its nickname, "the Phoenix City," reflecting its resilience and cultural heritage. Walking to the hotel reminded you of some of the street in Hong Kong on the Kowloon side.

The main purpose for the visit to visit an art precinct and a famous night market for dinner both did not disappoint.
