Kaziranga National Park

Rhinos are just fat unicorns. If we’d give them the time and attention they deserve, as well as a diet; They’d reveal their majestic ways - Ashley Purdy

An early rise again today as we were going to Kaziranga. National Park good thing I go to bed at 9 most nights. On the convoy of buses again for a 2 hour drive further north. I’d mentioned my itinerary said I’d see a tiger but I gather by the looks of the guide I’d need a lot of luck. It was 4 to an open air jeep with driver and guide in the front in less than 5 minutes it was Rinos everywhere amazing grazing in the water hyacinth birds on back amazing we were so very close. So I had water buffalo’s elephants and tigers plus a possible monkeys on my list.

Thy are not all the same Rino

Water bufflo are very large and surprisingly live similar to the Rino and are easy to spot

Elephants are big should be easy to spot even I. Elephant grass we were near the end of the days outing and still no elephants they are migrate to Myanmar to Thailand, Laos and Vietnam’s I guess they were on a migration. The we saw the elephant grass. Ove and there was one lonely elephant t eating grass.

The park had many bird but not golden duck like I saw. However I did see a kingfisher, snake bird and bin chicken (Indian)

Tigers we all know they are solidarity animals they tell me the park has one every 5 sq Km. I looked and looked but alas I only saw this can you it for me please

In the way back to the boat we stopped at a tea plantation all. Dry neat and tidy no tea pickers as it was late in the day.

Back on the boat waiting for cocktail hour the full moon rose over horizon. Nearly as spectacular as a sunset
